An open letter to our brother Mohamed Saleh Harba

E-Mail: darfurs_friends@yahoo.esDear brother Harba,
Please don’t use anti-democratic means to be a leader. This position should be achieved by election. Because all of you (the fighters for the dignity of the darfurians ), the SLM and JEM are fighting precisely because Sudan is governed by the AL-INTIKAS regime that achieved power by force of the gun and used fraudulent elections to legitimate its government and to convert the coup leader and dictator Omar Al-Bashir into president.
Dear brother Harba,
Differences between the members of any human groups, organizations, families, etc. is normal, and its normal to have your own points of view on different issues: politics, social affairs, religion… but it’s shameful to “fight” against your brother in the mass media as you did. Because it’ll only benefit our enemy, (the dictator’s regime) and it’ll weaken our struggle and not pave the way to achieve our objetctives. Since AL-INTIKAS is searching this mechanism to divide us so as to beat us and then conquer us and “enslave” us, converting our people into simple taxe payers, without any voice.
What you mentioned about the leader of the JEM if it’s true, you should denounce him before the competent authority of the rebel Group that you belong to, and demonstrate the evidence that proves your allegations.
Dear brother Harba,You mentioned that the leader hasn´t entered Darfur since the beginning of the struggle and this means cowardice, for you. I think you’re wrong, brother. Because if all of us were fighters, holding arms inside Darfur, then our voice would not be heard all over the world like today. Or at least heard distortedly by those who should represent us. So its necessary to have a political branch, Intelligence services…BUT, THERE´S NO DOUBT THAT FIGHTING INSIDE DARFUR IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, MOREOVER, OUR SOLDIERS PAY A HIGH PRICE FOR OUR FREEDOM (THEY “DONATE” EITHER BLOOD OR LIFE ). Dear brother, I haven’t the honour to fight inside Darfur, so I feel offended by your words, because I’m not holding a gun I use words instead of bullets to fight against the AL-INTIKAS regime. But I consider myself as a fighter for freedom, equality and justice, even though I’m not a member of JEM neither SLM, but I support both of them.
Dear brother Harba,
Khomeini defeated the SAVAK regime in Iran thanks to words, using a “remote control” from a chalet in Paris (this chalet could be in Eritrea, if he were a Sudanese like Dr. Khalil) to mobilize the Iranian people, sending energy and courage to his followers. He didn’t waste any bullets. So please don’t hurt your brother Dr. Khalil using very hard words to insult him, reserve these words for the enemy and fight for our cohesion and our freedom, don’t waste time. We’re in time of war, please don’t give the enemy any chance, and don’t make it so happy to publish your insults in its mass media such as smc and others, highlighting the differences between you and him (Dr. Khalil).
Dear brother Harba,
At the end of this article I’d like to ask you to forgive and ask your brothers to forgive you. And don’t confuse, Dr. Khalil is not your enemy. By the contrary, you and him have the same enemy… Don’t you know who is?
Best regards
