Dear Garang,
Soon, you'll form part of the Khartoum's regime. The SPLM/A and the National Congress Party (the Dictator Omar Al-Bashir's party) will form a coalition government On July 9th, 2005. So, I’d like to ask you a few questions about the future:1. The new coalition government is supposed to last at least three years. But this depends on you and the dictator; you should understand each other during these years. Otherwise, your coalition would fail. Right?
2. Can you assure the success of the coalition?
3. What would be the consequences of the coalition’s failure?
4. I think in this case you’ll go back to Rumbek and convert the territory controlled by you like Taiwan (neither an independent State nor a province of China) during six years or maybe you’ll unilaterally declare an independent South Sudan State, without holding any referendum. What’s the other alternative?5. I think you should call your Movement South Sudan People’s Liberation Movement / Army (SSPLM/A) instead of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement / Army (SPLM/A). Because in Naivasha you were negotiating only for the southerners, your people. Certainly, you’ve the right to do so, but please don’t use the suffering of other Sudanese indigenous as propaganda and then pact with their hangmen. You’ve got supports from Nuba people, Ingessana, etc. nevertheless; you’ve solved only the southern problems. Moreover, while you were signing “peace” agreement in Naivasha, laughing happily with the Darfur’s Genocide Architect, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, holding his hand stained with blood, our people were attacked with Antonov plains and the regime’s wicked Janjaweed militia was burning their huts and committing many atrocities. Are you really happy to share power with the dictator Omar Al-Bashir and to be his right hand?
6. Do you think that Naivasha agreements are going to solve all our problems? Let’s suppose that you said "yes". Then, why do you continue negotiating with the rest of the southern rebel groups that have been ignored in Naivasha and still haven’t reach any agreement?
7. your future Boss, the dictator Omar Al-Bashir is doing the same with the rest of the political opponents in the rest of the country: the NDA, the Darfur's rebels and he's preparing to negotiate with the rebel Groups in the East. Do you (Garang and Al-Bashir) consider the Sudanese people are idiots?8. Why you didn't accept all the Sudanese opponents to participate in the negotiation’s table in Naivasha: politicians, rebel groups from the South, from Darfur and from the East? You Know that Sudan is not divided into North and South, but into South, East, West, Centre and North. So, if you had counted on all, you’d have solved all the problems from the root and at the same time.
Let's suppose that your answer is: we would lose the time and we would never reach any agreement..9. I'd like to remind you that Naivasha agreements were thanks to the USA’s pressure. Therefore, whatever the number of the negotiators, the "whip" of the USA is capable enough to force them to reach an agreement. It isn’t true?
10. Have you got a democratic spirit?
if you (Garang and Al-Bashir) had a democratic spirit and let all the oppositions to participate in the negotiation, We'd never have all these troubles: some rebel groups are still active in the South, the Darfur atrocities and fighting are going on in the East.11. Do you repent having signed a very important agreement with the dictator Omar Al-Bashir who doesn't represent the majority of the Sudanese people?
12. Do you believe in “The End justifies the Means”?
13. Are you worrying about the occupation of Halaib triangle by Egypt, since 1992?
14. How would you solve the conflict?15. Should the suspects of Darfur atrocities be tried inside or outside Sudan?
16. Do you think that the regime's judicial system is independent?
17. What would you do if the UN asked the Government of Sudan to hand over all the suspects of Darfur atrocities, immediately to the ICC? As you know the dictator Omar Al-Bashir said "I swear thrice in the name of Almighty Allah that I shall never hand any Sudanese national to a foreign court". Do you agree with your future Boss?
18. What would you do, if the dictator attacks East Sudan, with the same Antonov planes that have been used in Darfur and forms a new militia called Janjaweed-2 to terrify the indigenous ethnic groups in the East? In the same way that he did it against the indigenous in Darfur.19. Do you have a fear of might be assassinated by the regime itself or by any fanatic group, in order to avoid the celebration of the referendum or at least delay it indefinitely?
20. Do you think that I’m very pessimistic?
21. Do you sincerely believe in the union, I mean to maintain the South as part of Sudan, forever?
22. Why do you convert the South as an independent State before the celebration of the referendum? Since, you have your own Army, bank, banknotes. Moreover, your Movement has signed some agreements with international companies to explore oil in the South and to construct a railway net that extends beyond the Sudanese borders, etc.23. I do believe that the South is almost an independent State, after Naivasha Agreement. You only need an ambassador to the UN and to open embassies worldwide. Am I wrong?
24. You've criticized the leaders of Anya Nya because they were secessionist; nevertheless, in Naivasha negotiations you've demanded the right of self-determination for the southerners and to hold a referendum in six years. Why?
25. Why did you demand it? Because the majority in the SPLM/A is in favour of the independence or because deep in your heart you do wish it, but you don't want to recognize it openly?26. Do you think that the darfurians have legitimate rights to ask for self-determination for their region and hold a referendum to permit the citizens to decide their destiny like the southerners?
27. Do you support this idea, if the Darfur's rebels who are negotiating in Abuja demand it as main issue to sign a peace agreement? You should know that Darfur was an independent State until 1916, while the South formed part of Sudan since 1839.28. If you think that Darfur's culture and religion is identical to the rest of the country, while the South is animist and Christian. I'll ask you the following questions: why the Western Sahara (the former Spanish colony) declared unilaterally its independence from Morocco when this country annexed it, after the withdrawal of the Spanish. In spite of the fact that 100 % of its inhabitants are Muslim and Arabic. Moreover, they’ve “blood” relationship with the Moroccans? Why some Arabic countries and African countries support their right of self-determination. Moreover, some countries have diplomatic ties with the Democratic Republic of the Sahara?
29. Let's suppose that the option "no” to independence wins. I mean that the majority votes in favour of the union. could you assure that no secessionist rebel Movement Anya Naya III will be formed in the South in future?
30. Let's suppose that the option "yes” to independence wins. Then, could you assure that the South and the North would never return to war and will solve all the critical issues like the limits of the borders, the disputed areas, oil deposits, white Nile waters, etc. peacefully?
31. Imagine that the dictator Omar Al-Bashir send you to represent him in a very important Arab League meeting, because he can't go. In this meeting the leaders decide to vote on the creation of the United Arab States (UAS) in order to unite all the Arab countries like the United States of America. Do you accept to go?
32. Would you vote in favour of the UAS?
33. Is Sudan an Arabic country?
34. Arabic, what does it mean?
35. Why did you reserve for your coalition 80% of the Parliament seats?
36. Do you believe in democracy?
37. Is it a democratic attitude?38. I call your coalition a “Constitutional” Dictatorship Regime, because you are going to govern according to a Constitution that merely has been written to serve your own interests (It maintains the dictator Omar Al-Bashir in power and converts you into his right hand, among other benefits). I don’t accept to call Omar Al-Bashir “President”, according to my point of view this honourable position should be achieved by votes not by arms) Do you agree with me?
39. Can you assure that there will not be any coup attempt neither against your coalition in Khartoum nor against your autonomic government in the south?40. Do you think that Sudanese political problems can be solved little by little: Naivasha, Abuja, Cairo, N’djamena, Asmara, Nairobi, Tripoli… using the policy of divide and conquer?
41. I think the best way to cure Sudan from its chronicle disease is to do the following: First of all, we’ve to choose the Doctor; he must be a qualified man or woman, not like “Dr.” Omar Al-Bashir. Secondly, it should be given an adequate medicine. But if we leave Sudan to the “butcher” Omar Al-Bashir like what we are doing today, he’ll cut all its arms and legs, because he hasn’t got any qualification to cure the nation from its severe disease. Do you agree with me?
